About Us and What We Do

Ken Rogers owns and operates Dunleith Designs and Antiques, and has 33 years experience in the design, furniture and decorative arts industry. Transitioning into his own business, he opened his shop in July of 2007 on Magazine St. in New Orleans, LA.

Mr. Rogers inspiration for the name “Dunleith” comes from an area of Southern Scotland and Northern England which is part of his heritage.

He holds a BFA in Interior Design and Art History from Louisiana Tech University and is a 25 year professional member of The American Society of Interior Designers.

In September of 2010 he relocated his shop to Old Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans and now has quadrupled the size of the shop to 3000 square feet of showroom space and offers his customers ample off street parking.

At that time he was joined by Dorothy Burns who has been a great asset to the shop. She holds a BA in Management and Communications and balances perfectly with Mr. Rogers in the daily activities of the shop.

Dunleith Designs and Antiques is an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau and is listed in Dunn & Bradstreet.

Dunleith Designs and Antiques offers fine and vintage American, English and French antiques of the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries and related decorative arts at affordable prices.
